Hull Comedy Festival is back for 2025 with more fun, more giggles and more laughter, as it celebrates its 19th year!

There’ll be a variety of acts and performances including stand-up, variety, touring shows, works in progress, award winning performers, family-friendly shows, and local and regional comedy talent with a sprinkle of the hottest shows from the UK comedy scene.

Headliners include Suzi Ruffell with her new show the Juggle, the hilarious Josh Jones, Phil Nichol, who’ll be trying his best, and the irrepressible Su Pollard, celebrating 50 years in showbusiness.

This year’s festival also features shows at Hull Truck, Comedy Lounge, the Edge Hub, Brain Jar and the Pop-up Space in the Fruit Market - with something for everyone!

As always, the annual Christmas Lights switch-on will include a host of special guests and performers on the balcony of City Hall.
