Premier League Hull City have revealed their new home kit for the forthcoming 2026/27 season – which pays homage to the distinctive thick stripes of the 1978/79 season and returns to the HCAFC lettered logo for the first time in 47 years.

The new kit was unveiled this evening as the Tigers announced Hull company OXEN Sports as the club’s new technical and kit partner.

The multi-year partnership will see OXEN supply all on-pitch and training wear for the club, alongside a full range of retail products for supporters to purchase in Tiger Leisure.

A brand formed in Hull’s creative Fruit Market area, OXEN Sports continues its rapid growth across elite sport, with the Tigers becoming the fifth football club – and the first in the Premier League – to join its expanding portfolio.

Continuing the Hull-centric theme, local poet Shane Rhodes’ poem, The City Speaks, takes centre stage in a video as part of the kit’s launch. Produced by BAFTA-award winning filmmaker Chris Hees in conjunction with Hull City’s in-house creative team, it features Hull-born actor Matt Sutton alongside club captain Lewie Coyle, play-off hero Oli McBurnie and dynamic midfielder Darko Gyabi modelling the kit in iconic areas across the city.

Hull City chief operating officer Joe Clutterbrook said: “We’re incredibly excited to be beginning this journey with OXEN as our official kit partner. With their roots in Hull, and a strong affinity for the club already, we know OXEN is a partner that will place our supporters and the heritage of Hull City right at the centre of everything they deliver for us.

“As an upcoming brand, I genuinely believe OXEN are the ideal fit for us. The quality of their products, agility of logistical support and freedom they give to their partner clubs, set a perfect platform for us to deliver some great rangesin the coming years.

“I’m excited for our supporters to see what comes next and help us develop this partnership together. Working with an upcoming brand with ambitious growth plans, especially one formed in our city, really is the definition of ‘One Family, One Dream’.”

Lee Jenkinson, CEO of OXEN Sports, said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Tigers to the OXEN family. OXEN is a brand born in the creative heart of Hull, so we are incredibly proud to secure our second major club in the city.

“Whilst OXEN continues to grow at both sides of the world, this one is personal for me. As a former Hull City season ticket holder, who also lived in the spiritual home of the club at Boothferry Park after its redevelopment, naturally we are delighted to bring the OXEN brand home again.

“We pride ourselves on the service we offer our partners, the quality of our products, and the strength of our supply chain. Just as importantly, we give clubs the creative freedom to design kits that tell stories, one that truly resonates with fans. That is at the heart of everything we do.

“We can’t wait for supporters to get the products in their hands, see what we’re all about, and be part of what comes next as we build this journey together.”

The new home kit and first training wear range for the 26/27 season will be available to buy from 9am on Friday, June 12, online and in-person from Tiger Leisure stores in St Stephen’s and the MKM Stadium.

Hull City extends special thanks to @concept_kits_ for their creative collaboration and input on this design concept.
