Modular construction business Integra Buildings has forecasted record financial performance as it prepares for a special year in 2027 and a major programme of investment.

The East Yorkshire-based company is on track to deliver turnover of over £55m and pre-tax profits exceeding £6m in 2026 – both figures the highest in the company’s near 30-year history.

Underpinning Integra’s growth is a shift to delivering more complex, turnkey projects – managing every stage from design and planning, through to manufacture and installation – as well as continued investment in the company’s people and in-house capabilities.

Integra’s workforce has grown from around 180 three years ago to 215 now, partly due to the creation of new departments and specialist teams.

Record performance in 2026 would serve as the perfect curtain-raiser for a landmark year in 2027, when Integra will celebrate its 30th anniversary and embark on a significant investment programme.

Integra recently secured planning approval for an expansion which will increase the footprint of the company’s headquarters site in Paull, east of Hull, by around a third.

Integra has also announced a multi-million pounds investment in its existing production facilities, increasing capacity and positioning the business for further growth.

Integra CEO Gary Parker said: “We’re extremely proud of the strong progress we continue to make as a business. 2026 is on track to be our best year ever and we see further growth into our 30th anniversary and beyond.

“While market and economic conditions remain challenging, we continue to buck the trend as a business which is growing, both sustainably and at pace. Our success is underpinned by the quality of the projects we deliver, and providing our clients with a service which exceeds expectations.

“Our pipeline of confirmed and potential projects is very strong and the investments we’re making in our people and facilities will ensure we’re well positioned to achieve our ambitions.”

In the first half of 2026, Integra recorded turnover of £25.5m, with pre-tax profits of £2.5m. The business is now forecasting turnover of £55.6m for the full year, with pre-tax profits of £6.35m.

Integra has seen impressive growth in key target sectors, delivering higher value projects for clients in fields such as infrastructure, utilities and transport.

The business is now on seven major public sector frameworks, broadening the pipeline of work in sectors such as healthcare, defence, education and local government.

Key to Integra’s success has been the development of the company’s in-house expertise, offering clients turnkey solutions which combine bespoke design with exceptional quality and reliability.

To support that transition, Integra has created new departments and specialist teams, with the business now having an electrical department, dedicated pre-construction team and site installation team.

In 2025, Integra was the only modular construction company to receive the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, with the business praised for its pioneering approach to sustainability.

Integra has made a multi-million-pound investment in sustainability at its headquarters site, focused on both reducing the cost and carbon footprint of its production operations.

Integra recently had plans approved by East Riding of Yorkshire Council for expansion onto neighbouring land, which will create additional storage space. Over the next three years, Integra plans to invest around £7m throughout the site, including in its existing production facilities and buildings.

Integra managing director Chris Turner said: “Our site expansion, and associated investment, will put us in a very strong position to continue our upward trajectory over the coming years.

“We’re entering an exciting new chapter for the business, building on everything we have achieved and pushing new boundaries, both in product design and innovation, and sustainable manufacturing and construction.

“Our growth is also opening up new and more diverse opportunities for both our own employees and across our supply chain.”
