KCOM launches new campaign with help from The Traitors’ Jessie

KCOM has joined forces with the Hull star of hit TV show The Traitors for its latest campaign.

The business has teamed up with Jessie Roux for its new ‘Real good’ promotion.

Hair stylist Jessie, who now splits her time between working at the No1 Salon, in Hessle, and her rising media career, took to the streets to help spread the word about the campaign.

Clad in one of her trademark bright orange outfits, Jessie said she was excited to be teaming up with a local company she’s known all her life.

She said: “Growing up in Hull, I’ve had KCOM all my life, so to actually be working with them and being part of their new campaign is crazy.

“They’re a great company, have the best broadband, and the fact that I already had the orange jumpsuit fit perfectly and shows I’m already completely on brand!

“It’s been such fun, I’ve loved doing it. I had to act out doing different jobs with the team, like fitting broadband and taking part in a team meeting. I’ve never acted before so maybe that’s a new avenue I could look at. But it’s just me being me really!

“I love the fact that Hull has the most reliable broadband in the UK - it’s something to be really proud of coming from this city.”

The ‘Real good’ campaign, which is now live across the region, showcases the company’s 99.999% available full fibre network.

Jesse stars a social media mini-series, in which she is KCOM’s new reliability tester. Each video show a different side of the business and the local people behind it.

Jessie said she is enjoying every minute of her new-found fame.

“I’m loving it, I’m on a real high at the moment and being able to do lots of different, new things, is really exciting,” she said. “My life’s completely changed since I went on the show. It’s gone completely mad, if I’m honest.

“But I’m just embracing each new opportunity, seeing where it takes me and enjoying the ride!”
