Comedy with a political twist: Jonathan Pie brings new show to Bonus Arena

POLITICAL RANTS: Jonathan Pie

By Simon Bristow

Comedian Jonathan Pie will bring his brand new tour to Hull next year.

Jonathan Pie: Hero or Villain? It’s a question often asked and one that Pie hopes to answer in his brand-new live show.

You can join him at the Bonus Arena on February 13, 2024, as he celebrates the UK’s greatest heroes – nurses, Gary Lineker, 24-hour off license proprietors – and takes a verbal blowtorch to its villains, including “The Tories” and cyclists. Marvel in wonder as he kicks in The Establishment’s back doors and rifles through its kitchen cupboards.

Jonathan Pie is a fictional comedic character who rants angrily about politics. The character came to prominence for spoof videos in 2016 mocking Donald Trump, trending on social networks and going viral on YouTube.

Tickets start at £20 each (booking fees apply) and will be available from 10am on Friday via www.bonusarenahull.com and Ticketmaster.
