Digital advertising firm announces Daisy Appeal as charity of the year

Pixel Media Technologies has chosen the Daisy Appeal as its charity of the year, committing more than £15,000 in marketing support to advance its Scan for Life campaign.

The year-long partnership will use Pixel Media Technologies’ network of digital advertising screens across Hull to raise awareness and support for the campaign, which aims to raise £3m for a new state-of-the-art digital scanner.

Paul Cartmell, managing director of Pixel Media Technologiessaid: “The Daisy Appeal supports the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, dementia and heart disease for thousands of people across our region, and we’re honoured to become its Scan for Life marketing partner.

“The work the Daisy Appeal does to support groundbreaking research and better patient outcomes is genuinely inspiring, and it’s something we’re proud to stand behind. The new scanner will significantly enhance early diagnosis and treatment for patients across the region.

“What makes the charity particularly special to us is that it is a Hull-based organisation with deep roots in the local community. We are passionate about supporting causes that make a tangible difference to the lives of local people.

“As their Scan for Life marketing partner, we can raise awareness of this incredible work and encourage more people and businesses to get involved. This partnership is about more than marketing - it’s about supporting a cause that is making a real difference to patients and families across our community.”

Professor Nick Stafford, chair of trustees at the Daisy Appeal, said: “Through high-impact digital displays across Hull, this partnership will help us reach thousands of people every day, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and the impact of our work.

The Scan for Life campaign aims to transform diagnostic capabilities in Hull by funding a new digital PET-CT scanner, enabling faster and more accurate detection of conditions including cancer, heart disease and dementia.
